Credentials

I have completed my accredited Health Coaching Diploma with the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM). I am a registered Health Coach with the UK and International Health Coaching Association (UK&IHCA), and are guided by their scope of practice. I have trained as a coach to help you go alcohol free with the Sober Club, and am training with the Peak Academy in Sheffield to specialise in providing support for people living with chronic pain and fatigue.

I’ve a PhD in gut physiology and through my career have researched gut disorders, always focusing on the benefits of natural ingredients like fish oil or turmeric. I worked at the Institute of Child Health in London,  and later on at the School of Nursing at Nottingham University, and then as a lecturer on Healthcare Science programmes at De Montfort and the University of the West of England in Bristol. Later in my career I worked for a herbal tea company and have been researching herbs and spices ever since.
